Homemade Nutella

1: Preheat your oven to 180°C.

2: Spread the hazelnuts onto a lined baking tray and bake for 10 minutes until lightly golden.

3: Transfer into a processor or blender and blitz until it becomes a fine meal, scraping down the sides as needed.

4: Continue processing on low to medium speed until it becomes a smooth nut butter/paste, which can take between 10-20 minutes depending on your appliance.

5: Add in the icing sugar, cocoa powder, salt, and vanilla, and process again until smooth.

6: With the motor running, slowly pour in the oil until well combined.

7: Pour into a clean jar and store in a cool and dry area; it will become thicker once it cools.
